Don't eat anything with fat. Chicken, a little rice won't hurt, and salads. Use dietary sugars like equal, splenda instead of regular sugar. No soda pop, whatsoever. No fried foods at all. I lost 40 pounds eating chicken, rice and salads with a little ham in it to give it some taste. Also eat fruits, pineapples, apples. Stay away from bananas and grapes until u start losing weight effectively. No beer or alcohol. That includes wine. Coffee is fine, but, use low fat milk. Also eat fruit shakes with low fat milk, dietary sugar and fruits once a day only if u start to crave for something sweet. You'll see the weight come off each week. Don't give up!

If you have a weight problem then "eating healthily" will not help. You will lose weight and inevitably put even more back on.

You have do address the underlying cause of your weight problem, which lies with your metabolism.

Any diet you use must be a diet in the truest sense - a lifestyle change. Refined food will aggravate any underlying metabolic disorder, and using a diet that is lacking in essential fats and proteins is asking for trouble.

Usually people with compulsive eating disorders can curb apatite by using a diet that favors high quality protein, whilst using a glycemic index to ensure that blood sugar does not spike, causing binge eating.

If you are used to eating a diet high in refined sugar then there is a transformation period of around 2 months where you may not feel well because your body is basically changing the way it uses energy. You have to get through that part to correct your problem.

    Good luck.

run in the morning before you eat anything, calculate your daily calorie intake and take off 500 calories and you will loose weight.

Magic Rule to Lose FAT and not weight:

    Part 1:
Find a BMR calculator, and calculate how many calories your body needs per day to sustain itself. Then subtract 500 from that, and consume that many calories per day. Once per week, have a cheat day, where you can consume up to an extra 500 calories over your BMR eating anything you want. This should get you a 1 lb of FAT loss per week.

    Part 2
Perform 500 calories of exercise a day. This should get you another 1 lb of FAT loss per week, for a combined 2 lb per week, which is typically considered the healthy max to lose per week.
