Fat Dan is Ron Borges wanna be. I think more times than not promoters and managers play Fat Dan for a fool.

he's said this before. Fat Dan and Arum don't have a great relationship because Fat Dan goes after Arum for the bs he pulls.

But next time Fat Dan says something about Floyd, guarantee people will flame him and claim he's a Pac dickrider.

that is a scathing, unbiased, and superbly written piece. Journalism at it's finest. It should be framed and hung at the International Boxing Hall of Fame for all to see.

    Arum is toast

That's what makes it worse, Fat Dan has never been a "Floyd guy" and has went out of his way to **** on Floyd. For him to have to take this position is pretty extreme and why I said it's getting pretty bad for Team Manny. He's never been the "bad guy" but after being booed out of the arena after the JMM fight combined with this kind of criticism, Manny is in for a rude awakening.

    very interesting.

I don't think Manny fears Floyd. Still think between the fighters it is the other way around.

And RE JMM vs Pac. Just see the fight with the announcers/sound turned off.

Arum from the $$ POV I guess does fear a loss to FMJ.

However I don't necessarily trust DR.

E.g., even if Manny lost, and it was a close fight, they would likely do it again, maybe have a trilogy--the 2nd and 3rd fights could be bigger than the first in theory.

So there may be more here behind the scenes than DR says.

For whatever reasons I have said I don't think this is ever happening, or it would have already.

Why is Pacquiao receiving a pass on this? He is just as guilty as far as I'm concerned.

Fat Dan isn't really an anyone guy. Has this weird thing for Joel Julio. But seriously, people's opinions of him depend on what side he's taken in whatever situation. I think he's kinda too opinionated for his own good sometimes and sometimes the way he scores fights makes absolutely no ****ing sense.

For his opinion pieces, he can and has changed his mind as facts are uncovered and changed. As it started, he would just report what happened with the negotiations but it's become harder and harder for Arum to whitewash his actions and this is exactly the sort of fall out Arum deserves. It looks like Fat Dan accepted that Manny fights whoever Arum is going to put in front of him at this point since his career is winding down, so when that person isn't Mayweather and Arum keeps on spouting his typical contradictory bull**** for why it isn't, this is the result.

Not really..... Bad is having to do 90 days in county for beating a woman.. having a shady promoter lie is nothing new. But its mad frustrating that it seems that now its Arum who is preventing the fight from happening.

Now that Floyd can fight May 5 and Pac expressed he wanted Floyd next, Bob should stop with the bull**** (for once) and put all efforts in making this fight reality. Pac should push for this fight hard.

Yup. People need to remember his report pieces are different from his opinion pieces. His news sources are pretty legit. But he comes off as a snooty know it all in his chats. And he's the biggest wrestling fan boy. Reminds me of a cross between some uppity company IT guy and the "It's Still Real" wrestling fan from YouTube.

At this point, yeah he has to accept some responsibility. I've always been in Manny's corner in terms of his personal slice of blame, but at this point he's the star and he's the decision maker, and he has to be the one to own this.

This is pathetic. An embarrassment to the sport. There is no reason why the fight shouldn't happen in May. But yet again, it won't.

    Thanks, Bob. You ****.
