I'd have to rewatch the first Johnson fight.. Seemed to let Pascal do his high energy **** early on in the fight, and towards the end tried to stop him after he's used up a lot of energy.. Seemed to be getting to him a whole lot more as well towards the end, just think he wasn't given the opportunity to try and finish the job at the end.. Pretty much begged them to let him fight two more rounds. His fault for taking too long to start up, but I can't help but wonder if his plan was to let Pascal gas out then try to finish him late..

Hopefully they fight again soon, it's a rematch I'd love to see.

Dawson stunned Pascal briefly in the 11th, but Froch had Pascal wobbled far worse and was unable to finish. When was the last time Dawson finished a top fighter? He is too complacent to finish a fighter as tough as Pascal since Pascal came right back.

I can see how people don't believe Dawson would have finished him. Maybe it's the Dawson fan in me that believe's he'd stun Pascal again with him landing more and the added urgency from the cut and be able to do something.. I just don't think he'd let the fight end and take the L easily if allowed to finish 12.

Dawson is a damn good fighter and his resume demonstrates that, end of story.

Old ass Hopkins is still a massive spoiler...and is world's better than anyone Ward's been in with. Tarver and Adamek are too.

Age is real and undeniable, but so is deciding who has the better resume and has accomplished more.

    DAWSON'S TOP WINS
    Tomasz Adamek
    Bernard Hopkins
    Glen Johnson X2
    Antonio Tarver X2
    Adrian Diaconu

    WARD'S TOP WINS
    Carl Froch
    Mikkel Kessler
    Sakio Bika
    Arthur Abraham
    Edison Miranda
    Allan Green

My prediction is that Dawson will win the fight, but am less confident in him winning the decision. I think it will be a slow, strategic fight. Hopefully, if nothing more, we get one of the two going for broke in the last few rounds. It would be interesting to see either of them in a mode of desperation and the other reacting off the back foot.
