What exactly was vintage Mora? Forrest I? Quillin beats that Mora. (as does any prepared version of Forrest ever, with ease, as shown in Forrest vs. Mora II)

It isn't like Mora is shot. He hasn't been in any wars (in fact he's gone out of his way not to be). He managed to share the ring with SHANE MOSLEY and actually took less damage from him than any opponent including FLOYD MAYWEATHER, though he did it by stinking out the joint whereas Mayweather dominated outside the round he got buzzed.

He is the same boxer now he was years ago, when first appearing on TV. He just beat Proksa, and his efforts in Vera I & II were certainly 'vintage' Mora and in fact he (and some fans) even think he was robbed both times.

Mora's been on a rampage campaigning for this fight. Even bashed DiBella for trying to get Macklin the Quillin fight over him. I see Sergio on Quillin's twitter account reminding Peter how he interviewed him years ago telling him he was going to be a star and now it's time to repay the favor. atsch

Sadly, as GB doesn't seem to think too highly of Peter, money might be an issue and Mora could step in over Macklin. I know Stevens is going a different direction right now (in a recent video of Peter & Curtis meeting, Curtis definitely didn't appear too confident around Peter), also Schaeffer was recently trying to make a Jacobs-Fletcher fight, so I imagine Danny-Peter is off for now as well.


Side note, found it interesting that HBO recently turned down Stevens-N'Dam for late March.
