    How sad.

Just when you thought the HW division couldn't sink any lower, Odlanier Solis does his best to drag the sport into the gutter.

This is a man who went from winning a world title in the amateurs to throwing his morbidly obese mass around the ring against C level bums before the most pathetic display in a world title fight ever, when his glass knee collapsed under all that fat.

It was inevitable really. Never was a man in such poor physical shape going to fight one of the most awesome physical specimens of all time.

It's a pretty well known fact on here that I don't like Adamek and his nuthuggers, however in this fight I hope Adamek absolutely ****ing tears Solis a new arsehole, before he returns to the Larsen fight in desperation, with Larsen smashing him into next week and leaving him flailing around on the floor like a fish during a drought.

Onwards and upwards for Larsen, hopefully he can find an opponent in better shape who deserves to share a ring with two of the most awesome physical specimens of all time (Larsen and Arnie).

Do you have any source for this? A fat fellow cuban poster on ESB is hardly a legitimate source.

I believe Kid Cubano when he's says there was NO official contract.

Sparring and training costs money, and with NO contract, it aint hardly worth a camp and risking injury when he's got a whole host of big names he could fight at his bidding.

Adamek, Pulev, Fury, Wilder........no need to chase a contract vs a guy who barely boosts his already solid resume.:deal

This is not what I have heard. The information I have from my sources say a proper legally binding contract is signed weeks ago. Arnold Classic is a huge event, and the promoter of the event has confirmed this to several of the Boxing medias as well.

You flame one of the best amateur fighters of the last decade. I highly doubt you're a true fan of the sport, so what if he is a fat ****er?

We have a few common friends\acquaintances.
Also trained at some of the places he has.
    So, info is quite solid.

    :good

The rumor was started by another poster, who didn't have anything to back up his claims with. Would seem strange to back out of a fight 1 week in advance unless there was some kind of injury. I have not found anything besides the mentioned thread here on ESB that mention anything about the fight being canceled.

It would also be very strange that Solis and his team would pull out of a fight they just recently reported to be training seriously for: http://www.eastsideboxing.com/2012/...g-ready-for-leif-larsen-bout-on-october-12th/

Really looking forward to it aswell, it has the potential to be a great fight.
