You know, Vitali was ahead 4-2 on the scorecards, and Lewis, who at first promised a rematch, decided against it after seeing Vitali fight Kirk Johnson.

Anyway, to post about a fight that was 7-years ago...you must really be hurting as the Klitschko Brothers continue to dominate. 22 straight wins.

So you could say that Lewis, a fighter who lost to journeymen in his prime, stopped Vitali when he was far from prime.

Trying to rubbish a fighter who beat your fighter just makes it worse doesn't it?

You got it all backwards. Vitali would have destroyed prime Lewis who lost to journeymen by KO.

Lennox is a COWARD for taking off and running away

its also the truth and a ALREADY PROVEN FACT

he couldve manned up but took the cowards way out..

dont argue with me lewis fans..facts are FACTS

he was getting destroyed in that fight..he didnt want no part of him in the rematch so he bailed out..

Lennox fans are still pissed that they have to defend this..lmao

the guy lost to rahman for f*cks sake u think he wants the Klitschko's??

hahaha...the man is a COWARD and thats it

Rahman is one of Wlad's top 3 wins, yet he's only a journeyman according to you when talking about his win over Lewis :nut

Says a lot for Wlad's record doesn't it?

Anyway, can't argue with anything the thread starter has said.

Taylor was ahead on the scorecards against Chavez, Froch against Jermain Taylor. Still Chavez TKO12, Froch TKO12.

I didn't know the Klitschko's were one entity. Now if we combined the Marquez brothers, they would **** all over the Klits P4P.

The brothers do continue to dominate....in a weak HW division. Rahman is still waiting for Vitali to fight him :hi:.

"ooh..but he was ahead on the scorecards!!! Vitali won the event, Lewis bitched out of a rematch"

Why didn't Vitali chase a rematch with Chris Byrd?

Exactly. VITLAY in his prime lost to the worst version of Lewis, whilst a prime WALDO was stopped by fat can Corrie Sanders. And both WALDO and VITLAY have made careers out of beating shot versions of guys Lewis already beat.

I have never been a fan of Lennox "The Gentleman" Lewis, but he was hitting Vitali fairly easy in that fight and the both of them were clearly tiring, look it's all in the game, if you get a bad cut then you're likely to be stopped by TKO, so get yourself some defence and you can avoid that.

Lennox was past prime and overweight, but yet managed to only be down two rounds after 6, he also took some pretty clean, hard shots and kept coming, ultimately it just takes a fighter with
height, boxing skills and power to have a chance against the Klits, i think a prime lewis would have beat that version of Vitali, but has Vitali gotten any better, i don't think so he still fights the same in my opinion.

There's no heavyweight fighting today that are going to beat either Klit, so look for them to retire as Champs, but they would be in a whole new world against some of the all-time greats.
