Joshua stops Parker within 8. Parker has so many defensive frailties and carries average power, as soon as Joshua catches him with the shots Ruiz and Takam caught him with he will be in trouble.
Cmon guys he has the future in front of him. I hope he will change the trainer or moves in USA as someone already mentioned. He needs to show some development , I just saw a big part of the match and I was completely bored. 0 thrill at all... Parker got lucky that his promoters won the right to make the fight at his backyard. For me even after this match he is still a top10 heavyweight , but he has to show a lot of improvement in all components. Right now it will be a huge mistake for him to face Joshua.
I never do ban bets. I just said what I think. joshua like wilder has been mollycoddled quite abit and seems no ending with it.
I wouldnt do a bet without a middleman anyways. I dont trust people on this forum. Let's say Parker does upset Joshua it losing the money wouldnt really make me mad lol, losing the money to someone who I'm positive wouldnt have paid me would **** me off.
It was a close fight so far from a robbery. Ruiz just didn't do enough to earn the decision, he threw very little after the early rounds. Parker clearly has a lot to learn, so far he's been winning based on his natural speed and power but the finer more technical skills are missing. His counter punching could be better, he doesn't move his head enough, his movement is predictable, he needs to sharpen his defensive skills in general. Compared to Joshua he's progressing slower, a switch in trainers is what is required if he is to reach his full potential, I don't have full confidence in Kevin Barry to teach him things he needs to learn to become a more complete fighter.
His work is very predictable, constantly throws the same combinations. Against better fighters, they will start to time him after two or three rounds. He needs more variety to his work...
