    He needs to cut the bull and move up after this fight. Oscar has wrote a check that Canelo can't cash if he beats Cotto. Oscar will have to pull a Bob Arum/Chavez Jr. and call the fight on the scales.

    What is Cotto's weight ? Canelo's 160 doesn't seem that bad. I think he is on target to make 155.

    That doesn't sound too bad, to be honest with you - definitely lower than I'd expect from Canelo. 4 or 5 lbs isn't that much of a swing in fight week. Probably proves that he could still make 154 easily enough too.

    Stuff like this is so standard, it's a wonder anyone would make a big deal about it. 5 pounds is easy a week out.

    Not true at all. Fight week means you're on weight and staying loose, not trimming 5 pounds.
