Trinidad-Vargas is my favorite. Rafa Marquez-Israel Vazquez III was probably the best overall fight I ever attended. Juan Manuel Marquez and Felix Trinidad were my favorite fighters of the last 25 years so I’d say those were my favorites. Morales-Barrera I is a personal favorite fight too.

So many great fights most of which have been named. Marquez vs Vasquez, Barrera vs Morales, Toney vs Jirov, Gatti vs Ward. I also enjoyed seeing big pro boxing cards return to my hometown of St Louis Missouri in the 2000's. We were lucky to have multiple Don King cards featuring local guys like Cory Spinks and Devon Alexander. Because of their success I got to see lots of really good fighters live and close up like Zab Judah, Roman Karmazin, Verno Phillips, William Joppy, Glen Johnson, Tavouris Cloud, Jean Mormeck etc.
Hozumi Hasegawa. The guy always gave 100% effort, was a speed demon machine gun punching southpaw, stamina monster and incredibly spirited. Has a top resume, top fights and is just awesome to watch. He's become underrated since he retired - for comparison, his win(s) over Veeraphol is better than Inoue's over Donaire imo, since Veeraphol was a dominant champion at 118lbs for 7 years and had 15 defences. Watching him win a title in a third class, in his last fight, was great to watch. Here's an over the top highlight. This content is protected
I was recently sent a signed photo from Hasegawa. Yes, he was a very entertaining fighter. He had a tremendous career.
