I am NEVER going to blast a boxer or anyone posting their opinion (because I've seen quite a few lists that I don't agree with but hey everyone is entitled to their opinion/ opinions) I'm just curious to see you guys top 5 fighters in the last 20 years (NOT BEST 5, YOUR FAVORITE TO WATCH): 1. Bernard Hopkins 2. James Toney 3. Andre Ward 4. Caleb Plant 5. Saul Alvarez (Canelo)
#1. Julio Cesar Gonzalez #2. Callum Johnson #3. Veeraphol Sahaprom #4. Román González #5. Érik Morales #6. Orlando Salido #7. Oleksandr Usyk #8. Glen Johnson #9. Dillian Whyte #10. Ricky Hatton Edit: went further, mixed the order.
Okay here goes as it’s from the 1990 to 2020 some of my personal favourites like Azumah Nelson , Hearns, Don Curry, Marvelous Marvin Hagler , Duran, Iron Mike Tyson, Lloyd Honeyghan and others I see as fighters of the 80s so they will miss out even though some fought into the 1990s. My 5 are: 1. Floyd Mayweather 2. James Toney 3. Kid Akeem Anifowoshe (May his soul rest in perfect peace. I miss him so much. He should have been a 4 division champion) 4. Felix Tito Trinidad 5. Riddick Big Daddy Bowe (Could have been so much more really) and Big Lennox Lewis are joint equal for me. Honorable mention to the Real Deal Evander Holyfield everything a world champion should be like Hagler and Andre Ward great fighter and an even better man.
1. Manny Pacquiao 2. Vasyl Lomachenko 3. Naoya Inoue 4. Roman Gonzalez 5. Gennadiy Golovkin 6. Erik Morales 7. Marco Antonio Barrera 8. Juan Francisco Estrada 9. Shinsuke Yamanaka 10. Juan Manuel Marquez
I really like that list, "Big Daddy" ... MAN!!! If he would have had discipline, who knows what he could have been. Lennox was tough too, he's on my all-time HW list
I must say I really like the look of Caleb Sweet Hands Plant. Beautiful wife. Interesting back story to.
I know he only fought a couple of times in the past 20 years because he's ancient (like me), but my favorite fighter of all time, Roberto Duran, tops my list. My next 5 are in any order: Larry Holmes Steve Collins Evander Holyfield George Foreman Johnny Tapia The more I think about it, the more enter my head.
