    Martinez...

I will root for most Colombians too, but to be honest, I haven't seen a lot of their fights and I'm not gonna just put them in my favorites list because they share my nationality.

    Yours?

Abraham and Darchinyan for guys that I think still have significant active careers left. My other favorite technically active fighters I think of as being all but gone. Mosley, Juan Manuel Marquez, Cotto. I think they're very close to retirement, all maybe one good fight left in them.

I was about as disappointed as I've been at almost any boxing thing in the last few years when Kirkland went away. Getting one of those doesn't come along very often. I had very high hopes for him.

I had put Ortiz and Kirkland in the same category as unstoppable prospects with Ortiz being step higher but we all saw what happened to him.

Even if Kirkland comes back the same, I doubt his backfoot fighting skills if he gets into a situation where he needs to use it.

I have high hopes for Saul Alvarez, and that young Featherweight who was on an ESPN card not to long ago. Looked very smooth.
