watch the amatuer fight between 17 or 18 year old tommy hearns v aaron pryor
    its on you tube
i first watched it on video about 30 years ago
    fascinating .

best heavyweight war you will see
    david tua v ike ibeabuchi
i think they threw a world record ammount of bombs

watch some of khasoi galaxy fights just to appreciate what a 1 handed fighter with the power of a lightweight fighting at super fly looks like

watch david pearce v neville meade the first british heavyweight title fight for about 5 years in 1981 ish just to see how bad british heavyweight boxing was in my era of getting into the sport

If you have the You Tube app on your tv's you can pretty much watch any fight that you want. Best thing since sliced bread. Line up the ones you want to check out that night and put them on your history then you can just hit the last button and go from one to the next. Also shows suggestions below fight you are watching with other fights by guy you are watching. It is like heaven:lupie:

Whay first came to mind was jack dempsey, all his fights were exciting but he had two exceptional ones, the first is when he rag dolled the current 6'7ft champion Jess wilard. What made this fight great was wilard was half a foot taller and seemed helpless against dempsey who knocked him down I think 7 times in the first round, Dempsey stood over him practically snarling at the mouth, could really feel the electricity in the air that fight. Many think it was the worst beating in boxing history, Willard was covered in blood by round 3 with broken ribs, nose, cheekbones, jaw, eye sockets all shattered.

The second would be when he beat challenger firpo, who knocked dempsey down once and literally punched him out of the ring, what made this fight great was how two power punchers were aggressively trying to knock each other out.

If you liked the Willard dempsey fight you'd also love Baer vs Carnera, which was very similar.

Frazier vs ali 1 was easily one of the best, joe frazier looked unstoppable that night, but was never the same fighter again afterwards.

Liston vs williams either one was great for the same reasons dempsey firpo was. Especially when williams really turned up the heat on sonny, that' when sonny went from trying to box scientifically to a brutal slugfest with two power punchers.

Louis Braddock was a very good one too, and a bit more underrated than it shoulda been. First and only man to k.o. Braddock. It was competitie at first when Braddock knocked Louis down, but it was all Louis after a while. What made this fight great was Louis was the most talented accurate boxer ever seen fighting Braddock who didn't necessarily hit hard but had one of the best chins, a champions mentality and a great one two combo.
