floyd mayweather...whatever about his personality, its hard to be a boxing fan and not admire what this man is. hopkins...a great boxing brain and technician, some call him boring, but i see a boxing professor lucian bute...liked him from when calzaghe was still around...i think he could be THE man at super-middle george groves...i'm a new fan of this lad...i still think degale (who he beat narrowly on points) is more skillful, but groves showed me how guts and determination mean so much, in his last fight he was tagged at the end of the 1st round by paul smith and in the 2nd showed real grit and stopped his man, he has got real grit about him. david price...i think he'll be the next great british heavyweight. ricky burns showed superb skills and attitude against kasdidas recently, i do take in to consideration that kasdidas may be on the slide, but regardless, it was a great performance.
Brandon Rios is my favourite fighter currently. He's got good offensive skills, mixes it up well, and will surely be in some ridiculous wars in the coming years.
Rios has just recently started to come to my attention too. How do you think he fairs against Gamboa?
I think he's too big and strong for Gamboa who, although very talented, has been knocked down multiple times already and against Featherweights. Rios is a big lightweight.
Floyd Mayweather & James Toney have been two of my favourites for ages - although they're probably not far off calling it. Robert Guererro looks very talented too Probably my favourite fighter from my own country is George Groves. As far as heavyweights there's a cuban coming up , Mike Perez, who I like the look of best and the Samoan Alex Deapia aswell
JMM Mayweather Hopkins Martinez Cotto Chambers Gamboa Cunningham Khan Katsidis Dirrel For the future i really liked what i have seen from Broner and Rios so far. Groves, Cleverly and Trout are looking good too. I'm really looking forward to see Gamboa, Rios, Broner and Juanma Lopez mixing it up.
