Favorite gatekeepers?

    Gatekeepers that deserve respect for a lot of things such as:

    - For being exciting fighters themselves.
    (Price, Thompson, Arreola, Johnson, Chisora)

    - Against young and promising but high risk fighters.
    (Joshua, Parker)

    - Against young promising fighters with weak resumes - thus low reward but high exchange on the ratings.

    - For fights on short notice.

    - For fights with low profitable reward.

    Anything I've forgotten?

    Glen Johnson a gatekeeper. Yeah I kinda agree with that but then he held a version of a world title at one point.

    I would say Matthew Macklin or was he just good in a couple of world title fights.

    Soto Karass and Rosado are the epitome of recent times. Throw in Martin Murray as well.

    Kevin Mitchell? Afolabi?

    :think i wonder if Murray will get one more shot at a title. I know Groves wanted a shot at him, and a win over Groves would likely lead to title opportunity.

    Steve Cunningham is no longer a contender unless he really ramps it up at cw. A good gatekeeper tho
