Some brilliant examples in this thread of why we love Boxers for being the men they are. Another couple :
Josh Warrington and Carl Frampton tapping gloves at the beginning and end of every round after the fourth of their absolute war.
Gennady Golovkin taking Martin Murray out for beers after their fight in Monte Carlo. Golovkin picked up the tab too.
My favourite is from 1975, the first Chris Finnegan v Johnny Frankham fight. After 15 rounds, Harry Gibbs gave a decision to Frankham which could be kindly described as debateable. Both men had huge, well oiled followings from the London Irish and Gypsy communities respectively. I'll use the late, great Harry Mullan's words:
With pure hostility in the air and the atmosphere ripe for a riot, Finnegan with unforgettable sportsmanship, strode smiling across the ring to shake Frankham's hand and in one magnificent gesture quelled the Albert Hall.
They don't make them like that anymore. Chris or Harry.
