Pacquiao vs Morales I is the pinnacle for me. At least of what comes to mind.

Nice. I nominated Ali for Frazier I, but should have thought to reverse it for the Thrilla.

Nonito Donaire's losing effort against Naoya Inoue became one of my favorite losing efforts the moment the fight ended.

Broner vs Maidana- jumped up 2 weight classes past 140 and took on his mandatory from the belt he was gifted from Malignaggi. Had to drop the Floyd impersonation and buckle down and fight around the 5th round. He wanted to quit so bad but he dug in and fought for his life. Broner was at his best in that fight.

Bradley vs Provodnikov- Bradley wanted to prove he was tough and Ruslan wanted to kill someone. Boxing instinct won Bradley that fight because he was losing the slugfest. His brain just went into boxing mode and cleared some rounds for him but Ruslan won that fight for me.

My selections by no means robust because I haven't watched much outside of the Era I grew up watching. But...

    Jesus Chavez against Morales
Toney against Peter in their first meeting
Morales's efforts against Maidana and Danny Garcia
    Sturm against De La Hoya
    Vargas against Trinidad
    Lamon Brewster against Siarhei Liakhovich

I made an account just to post this. Duran's performance against Hagler in 1983 is my gold standard for the best losing efforts in boxing. Considering how, apparently, Duran was up by one point on two judge's scorecards and dead even on a third judge's scorecard going into the 14th round, this is accomplishment up there with defeating Leonard in 1980 to become the welterweight champ or defeating Barkley in 1989 to eventually become the middleweight champ in my opinion. What an absolute legend

    EXACTLY mate!

His performance vs Hagler gers a little overlooked. Too many focus on the Hearns knockout and no mas. Beating Barkley years after his prime is probably his greatest feat other than Montreal

He has his faults like I mentioned above, but his run at LW was legendary. Not to mention fighting in 5 separate decades. He has over 100 fights with a higher knock out percentage and win ratio than Pacquiao, not to mention tougher opposition

Some people actually think Floyd and Manny are the GOAT lol

They don't hold a candle to Roberto or Leonard
