Haha, you know what? Broner actually gained a bit if my respect in that fight. I loved seeing him get a beatdown, but he finished the fight and never stopped trying. The memes that came out of it were great, too.

My favorite losing efforts may be too far back to be relevant. Frankie Duarte coming back from homelessness and alcoholism to fight a talented Bernardo Pinango to the wire for the title and outmatched Kelvin Seabrooks fighting back from underneath time and time again against ATG Orlando Canizales.

Also always admired that Freddie Pendleton gave prime Pernell Whitaker a good tight scrap and actually won a few rounds. I thought that was quite an accomplishment.
