I would have put PRIDE in but they merged with the UFC. Of all the fights I've watched so far I like those ones there the most.
WEC by a mile, followed by DREAM. All the others, Bellator, UFC, Strikeforce, even KOTC interest me about as much (with extreme prejudice for those that don't make me pay $50 or seek out a crappy stre-am to watch).
I'd say it's between the WEC and the UFC. The WEC for pure entertainment and the UFC is a mixture of the best fighters/accessability. Bellator are also quickly becoming a favourite of mine, despite the fact that I cannot view it. They produce some all action fights and spectacular finishes and I really apreciate that they put their fights and highlights on youtube. I hope they continue to grow as a promotion.
Bellator makes better matches than the UFC (generally more even, more competitive, higher action). UFC, obviously, has the higher caliber talent (for the most part)...because they can afford it. Strikeforce is sort of in-between in both departments. KOTC is a step below, but the unknowns usually demonstrate a ton more heart than the guys making cushy salaries for simply showing up and hopping into guard position. WEC and DREAM are the ones that give me butterflies - no bull****. I'm like a little kid at the circus, all that's missing is a cotton candy vendor in my living room.
The Orgs that you may like that I did not list. DREAM, Art of War, Hero's. Which ever you like the most.
No, that's cool, you don't always want to have a big inflated poll (although it does go up to 10 options...can get too messy to look at...) You don't think DREAM is a little bit bigger than Bellator? Even in the U.S. I'm willing to bet HDNet's ratings are a little bit higher than Fox Sports Net.
I'm a bit new to the MMA scene, I don't know all of the orgs. UFC, WEC and the other ones are the ones that I thought were recognizable. I don't know too much about overseas promotions and just listed the US based ones that I knew of. If there were any others thats what the "Other" option is for.
UFC has, by far, the deepest talent pool in MMA. They put on the biggest events and are the original. How can UFC not be your fav. MMA org.?
