Hagler-Hearns was the first match I ever watched with my old man when I was a kid. So that one will always hold a special place in my heart, and what a fight.
I guess Leonard v Hagler had the most impact for me, I was 13, big boxing fan, Hagler was invincible in my mind and Leonard was just somebody who I had 'used' to be great. At the time, I thought Hagler would destroy him.
Duran - Leonard I. Roberto shocks the boxing world (and breaks Howard Cosells heart) by upsetting SRL over 15 in a memorable high tech slugfest. Great fight, several ebbs and flows.

That was the best fight but the decision kills me. I think Leonard Hearns 1 is another great fight. That's a hell of an introduction! First one I can remember is Tyson Holyfield 1.
Hagler Hearns without a doubt. Also why I love Pac-JMM 4 even if my boy lost. These are some of those uber rare action packed fights where both fighters were just sitting on their punches trying to impose their sheer power on the other until one goes out swinging.
