Marvin Hagler: Right Jab Julio Cesar Chavez: Left hook to the body Ray Leonard: Left hook Ike Quartey: Jab Oscar De La Hoya: Jab Mike Tyson: Right Uppercut, but I loved the way he threw basically all his punches. Floyd Mayweather Jr: Straight right, especially the "pull-counter" coming over a left jab Zab Judah: Left Uppercut Larry Holmes: Jab Thomas Hearns: Straight Right Manny Pacquiao: Straight left Antonio Tarver: Straight left Marco Antonio Barrera: Left hook to the body Julian Jackson: Right hand, kind of a chopping one James Toney: Counter right hand
Eric Morales used to throw this wide sweeping right to the body that he would switch in mid punch to a half hook/uppercut. The opponent would move to block the body punch and the chin would be right there. He didn't do it much later in his career but he got some great KO's early in his career with that punch.
Chad Dawson: Right Hook, Right Jab Thomas Hearns: Left Jab, Straight Right Julio Cesar Chavez: Leaping Right Hand. James Toney: Counter Right Muhammad Ali: Left Jab, Right Cross Mike Tyson: Bolo Punch Oscar De La Hoya: Left Jab followed by a Right Cross Evander Holyfield: Counter Right Cross (the one that knocked out Buster Douglas)
Hattons left hook to the body. Also floyd jab which was mudereing hatton all the time. It is a good job floyd can move that quick because if hatton had connected with that left the punch could of shocked the world.
Can anyone tell me of a better right that is straight down the pipe than Klitschkos? I almost would give him the best jab also. He has the tools to be the great of all greats!
wladimar klitschko all his punches, what a beautiful boxing exhibition/clinic against ray mercer, watch it again if you get a chance
To be fair, Wlad's jab and straight right are class If they weren't he would have lost far more with that chin
