A fighter you like and always follow, yet doesnt get the profile of others of similar ability in the sport.

Mine probably is Craig Watson, honourable mention Nigel Wright

Roman Gonzalez. Despite being a world champion, few people know much about him because most of his fights are in asia and Nicaragua.
Martin Lindsay is almost a forgotten man now but I always enjoy watching him. Shame Maloney cant gt him good fights.

Gonzalez is a good one. Mine is Edger Sosa. People like Donaire and Antony Peterson should be much bigger names by now. I know he's nothing special and doesn't deserve any more recognition, but i always enjoy watching Antwone Smith.

Btw another good thread and an offshoot of this one would be "favourite fighters of the past who have gone under the rader or deserve more recognition"

You mentioned Donaire. I think top rank have made a big **** up by not putting him on Paquiaos undercards. He cant be getting paid much for these pinoy power 2 bob ppvs so it wouldnt affect his purse worse. Pac aint got long left and theres going to be a gap in the filipino market. They should be showcasing him

On the domestic scene; Jason Booth (if he counts?) Cello Renda (although he is a lot more recognised now for his double knockdown with Samuels :yep), Gary Sykes, Scott Quigg, Travis Dickinson, Denton Vassell, Rhys Roberts, Ian Napa, Martin Murray and Andy Morris.

World scene: Takashi Uchiyama, Carlos Ivan Velasquez, Argenis Mendez, Ivan Calderon, Beibut Shumenov, Charlie Ota and Derrick Wilson.

Mendez is a good shout. Honorio was after a few good showtime wins before Mendez beat him. Then Mendezs next fight is a midweek 8 rounder in a restaurant in NYC :-( and I have in the stars of the future league

Basically most top ranked fighters from Thailand, I love watching those guys fight. Roman Gonzalez is a good one he's probably the only fighter at that weight I watch. Vasquez who beat Ji-Hoon Kim is a good fighter as well.
