Cardiff and its not even close.

Im from Manchester and ive watch Calzaghe , Hatton , Haye , Benn vs Eubank all in Manchester.

But the way Cardiff is set up with the millennium stadium being right in the centre of the city makes it not only the best fight city. Calzaghe vs Kessler was just amazing (and it was full of English).

But Cardiff is also the best city in the UK to watch a sports event.

I was at Cardiff many years ago when Wembley was being built watching Stoke play Brentford in the play of final. We thought we would not be able to drink in the pubs because of Stoke and Cardiff fans hating each other and there had been trouble before. To my amazement the police sheaparded us into the pubs to stop us from being on the streets...! Happy days. You can't see the stadium cuz it is bang near everything and what a great venue it is could not fault it but the nose bleed seats there would be hard for boxing, there is a great intermacy at the MEN even in row z.

Trent Arena? (Nottingham, where Froch had a lot of his early fights) had the same intimate feel as the MEN Arena as well.

MEN Arena is Just perfect, IMO. Just works right.
