Favourite domestic fighters you thought would achieve more

    Death of Nicky booths got me thinking about fighters o used to watch back in the days of Friday night fights etc ..which boxers did you love to watch who you thought would be world beaters but just didn't make it n fell short

    Ian Napa.. loved his style ...thought he was absolute class...and thought he might get to world title level...off too of my head I can't remember if he got to European...I think he did

    Jamie Moore...all action southpaw..hard as nails...in some great domestic dust ups ..the Macklin fight will live in memory forever...think he wasn't far off world title when he got stopped by Rhodes..who could also make this list

    Jason booth...thought he'd beat molitor when the fight came...enjoyed watching him

    Cello renda...knew he wouldn't get to the top but thought he was fun..who doesn't love a banger...3 rounder with Murray in prizefighter is still a great watch

    I'm missing loads but I've been in work since 4a.m ...who were some of your domestic faves

    Nah he always looked domestic level to me. Very very feather fisted, probably the most feather fisted British champ I've seen.

    Punches like my Grandma..but I thought like a dick he was the British Mayweather...I did enjoy his style n got to euro level....better than me or half the forum ever did

    Micheal Brodie .... used to think he was going to be a superstar..... that fight with injin che was one of the best I’ve witnessed. For me Brodie had it all just very unlucky to never get a world title. A forgotten man in Manchester boxing and British boxing.

    Always liked Ovill Mckenzie. Did really well winning Prizefighter and absolutely flattened Tony Bellew. Eventually lost the fight, but it was a very unfair stoppage.

    Every boxer you mention/talk about has to have some black blood.

    You literally only talk about black/mixed raced british fighters from the past.
