Degale did better than well though, he had terrible injuries even before turning pro and they only got worse. Doesn’t get the respect he deserves.

    Kell Brook was horrendously mismanaged.

    Luke Campbell was too.

Don Broadhurst. Signed with fw won the commonwealth title headlining a show in wolvo i think. Then had a stinker with haskins for british title. Never really did much after that.

Peak Roy Jones IMO is arguably the greatest fighter of all time, and he would have to be considered up there had he retired after Ruiz or even Tarver 1 at 49-1.

Toney's fights against McCallum, particularly the first two, rank among the best technical fights I have ever seen. Roach, who trained Toney around the time he experienced his resurgence with victories over Jirov and Holyfield, is the source of the quote, so he must have seen something.

100% and not knocking the man who said Rigondeaux was the best he’s ever taken on the pads, which I can believe. Another fantastic technician.

I remember he just had, had enough and hung his gloves up earlier than any of us expected. Saw him at a few Degale fights, they were big mates.

Billy Joe Saunders had mad talent, imagine if he'd have been dedicated and active.

He wasn’t perfect and could be frustrating to watch at times, but he was mustard bearing in mind his body was about as reliable as Sergio Martinez’s. Ridiculous.

Colin McMillan, if he hadn't had that shoulder injury.

The golovkin fight was the absolute epitome of bad management.....

Credit to Kell for wanting it. But Hearn should never have allowed Kell take that fight. Goes to show how poorly Hearn promoted Kell at that time, that he couldn't get Kell an easier, yet high profile fight other than that.....

I suppose the obvious one, which has been mentioned, is David Price. I thought he was going to dominate for years.....

Alex Arthur is another one. He was never the same after Michael Gomez. Before that, he always reminded me of Miguel Cotto. Very similar style....I always remember my dad saying about him. He entered the ring as amazing alex Arthur, but left the ring, just Alex.

You'd have thought after the Fowler fight that Scott Fitzgerald would have gone on to become a big name in British boxing for years.

I think he'd have been fringe world level and involved in plenty of big fights, maybe even have scraped a world title against a weaker world champ

    Richard Evatt.

Just mentioned his classic fight with Junior Jones in Unknown classic fights in the Classic section.

Terrific one punch puncher. So close to beating a faded Junior Jones. Really thought he would at least be British champion but thought he might even challenge for World title.

Couldn´t believe he lost a Commonwealth title shot to unknown Mick O´ Malley who lost crown in 1st defence.

Sad to read that Evatt was living on the streets and died at 38.
