Glad someone mentioned it. I was going to add this fight as a really good action fight. Not as high caliber as Bute or Kessler but still the fight itself was back and forth with Froch having more in the tank then the durable Johnson.
Bute. Froch's elite career was on the line and he was considered the underdog. His response to that pressure? One of the most relentless, exciting beat-downs in recent memory. He stole Bute's future and reinvented his own...
Bute. I just didnt see that coming. I know there were questions about the Canadian but i was a believer and i thought his more rounded game would pick wholes in Froch,s raw and rugged style. Didnt expect him to get the **** kicked out of him in a couple of rounds. Personally i thought Dirrell won his fight against Froch and i also thought Taylor was schooling Froch at times and only his Asthema based horrendous gassing gave Froch the chances to take it, if his tank was not flat out empty he would of seen the final bell. But i fell for the Bute hype.
I would've loved to have seen that, culminating in that clown laying face down on the ground with bits of his broken teeth scattered all around it.
It was. Under the "other (please specify)" It wasnt on the main list as it was one of the most boring fights in Carl's career Congratulations Andre - you managed to stink out the joint with a fighter as exciting as Carl
You dont mess with Carl on the cobbles. Even Super Joe knows that, let alone some scrawny pencil necked Ward arse lickers
In a weird way, I loved how Froch attacked Abraham and Sauerland during the pre-fight presser and then punished Abraham for 12 rounds straight in a one-side demolition job. That was pure class.
