Good little thread on the GF, so I thought I'd copy it for British fighters. Being from Reading, I've got a soft spot for Michael Sprott. He is the least intelligent boxer I think ever to hold a domestic title, but he has travelled everywhere, faced good opposition and I quite respect that...it would have been more respected if he had won any of them!
It depends what you call journeymen..... I have seen Baz Carey in action twice and whilst he isn't up to anything, he at least turns up and has a go, takes people the distance and works them over. By far my least favourite is Paul Royston, gutless ****** needs beating up real bad.
Outside Britain, Jesse James Leijia. Loved the guy, if you wanted to be a major player in the division you had to go through him first. Michael Sprott is a good call. Fights anywhere, is pretty tough despite being stopped so many times, and can cause problems - for example the Taras Bidenko fight.
i also like Tackie hes become a gate keeper same with John-John Molina great shoout Tommy Leija was good also Micky Ward is a great gatekeeper
i like burton he's awesome. Back in the day paul wesley, freddie pendleton and carl allen all dangerous opponents.
