Favourite performance from a losing fighter?

    Off the top of my head I loved Erik Morales' performance vs Maidana. He was well past it but shook up Maidana and gave him a hell of a fight with 1 eye swollen shut.

    Shannon Briggs put in good efforts against Lennox and Vitali

    I also loved Mayorga going balls out against Trinidad , although he did kind of wilt out towards the end of the fight

    Cooney left it all on the line against Holmes .....people make fun of him now, but i gained mad respect for him watching him against Holmes

    Adrien Broner vs Marcos Maidana
    Broner was getting dropped and popped but he kept fighting until the end. He skipped 140 chasing Floyd and bit of more than he could chew but he stayed in the pocket and fought like a man. He hasn't fought that well since.

    Cooney had to fight hard. He damn near was forced to fight to the death because of the build up to the fight. It was so racially charged he was stuck between a rock and a hard place called Everlast gloves.

    Good call, people were so overwhelmed by the early knockdown they make it sound like AB was getting battered all night, but how i remember it Broner had began turning the tides by the end, it was just too little too late...

    Speaking of Maidana though, I thought he had a hell of a performance against Amir Khan nearly KOing him at the end after that viscious 1st round body shot knockdown Khan put on him
