losing is not the end of the the world. williams lost a closely fought fight. he never got koed or truly hurt. Most fights like last nights end in the champion getting the decision. he had an off night and got punished for it. I had 115-114 williams

Look at joe louis in 1936 against max schemiling. max outboxed him and ko'd him. it didn't stop louis becoming champ for 12 years or so

I can name many great champions who have won fights that could of gone the other way

williams is more than a one dimensional fighter. he showed that he can box and fight in the margarito fight. he is still a force in the welter division

Williams will be back .. but he's gonna have to really work on his game, especially if he moves up, because right now I think Spinks hits harder than him

I agree that it aint the end of the world for williams. to me he lost the fight clearly but can def come back, the same way quintana came back after that loss to cotto, i hope he does.

nah...cintron didnt want to fight him in the first place plus cintron is fighting marg and if he wins he would want cotto..he wouldnt fight pw because the risk of him losing and that would be another set back for kermit

You've got to understand that today being undefeated means that you are hyped as the next Sugar Ray Robinson. There's nothing we can do about it, except maybe let young kids who post here the time to mature a little bit.

Williams needed that win bad though. That was the fight to keep him in the top 4. He could of got a good fight after that. He just got the damned belt. The **** didnt even get warm yet.

i have no idea. i looks like everyone at WW is tied up. Maybe collazo..or if he goes to 54 forrest.but forrest ko's...pw needed that win bad vs quitnana because now he's in the back of the line and everyone at the top of the WW division is tied up right now
