Fear Confuses-Fear Paralyzes-Fear Inhibits ....And Floyd Is Being Consumed By It.

When you are afraid to be turned down when asking someone out, you stumble over your words....that's fear. When you momentarily think that you may trip... your feet can become tangled and you may trip yourself up, when you fear you won't be able to go to sleep....you're awake all night trying to figure out why you can't sleep. When you fear swallowing a large bite of food it almost always goes down excruciatingly slow....

Why because when you think too much about what comes naturally to you, like reflexes and simple movements you notice them more and fixate on the hows and whys behind their functionality therefore you become self aware of everything that you never noticed before. And that can hamper what should come naturally to you. Fear incapacitates and keeps you from thinking straight and doing what's come naturally to you all along.

The most effected by fear are the most confident of people, because when someone has never questioned themselves or their abilities, and they have to do that for the first time, they physically don't know how to cope and they become easily overwhelmed and can't process thoughts as quickly as they should. Fear slows the thought process because your brain is cluttered and you are obsessing and not fully focused on the task before you.

Floyd has always been confident that he will easily beat every opponent, he rarely doubts his ability...but the man he's feared for the last 6 years is about to be standing across the ring from him tonight, the one man he is not sure he can beat, the one man he fears can hurt him, the one man who's speed may overwhelm him is waiting patiently with a smile on his face...because Manny has already had to overcome his doubts and his losses..... he's content. Yet everything that Floyd has built his life around may be taken away from him in a few hours, he has everything to lose and that idea is terrifying to him and is eating him alive at this very moment. Floyd has been shook and fear is an incredibly hard emotion to rid yourself of once its taken hold. What will it be Fight or Flight? Let's be honest Floyd has never been the bravest fighter, what do you think?
