Feasible for HBO to conduct a sit-down interview with Mayweather and Pacquiao?

    Hey guys,

After watching Jim Lampley's new show The Fight Game this past week, with guests Richard Schaefer (CEO of Golden Boy) and Bob Arum (CEO of Top Rank). It got me thinking, would it be so hard for HBO to conduct a sit-down interview with Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao at the same time?

It seems the only common ground Mayweather and Pacquiao have is the platform on which they perform. That being HBO PPV of recent. HBO clearly have close ties to both fighters.

In 'Speaking Out' Floyd admitted that he had never met Pacquaio, and had only spoke with him briefly over the phone recently. I think that is catalyst as to why this fight hasn't been made yet, or at least why negotiations seem to break down at the first hirdle.

If HBO, namely Lampley or Kellerman, were to conduct a sit-down interview with both fighters live in the studio at the same time. I really believe we could see at least some development in the negotiations for this fight.

Ideally I would conduct a roundtable with all parties involved, i.e. richard schaefer, leonard ellerby, bob arum, roger mayweather, freddie roach, floyd and manny, although I realise that may be harder to put together.

    Your thoughts?

I can't see why they can't appear on the same interview.

I'd pay for it, if both fighters were hooked up to a lie detector, and they asked them all the tough questions

Floyd will just dodge and slip the relevant questions...or say something redundant like, "Take the test!"
