I was working that morning and put the radio on in the car , seeing if could catch the results of the fight. Expected to hear what had become the norm "mike Tyson retains the heavyweight title by such and such ko ".
I caught the back end of the report saying Douglas got up off the canvas to ko Tyson In 10 !
Gobsmacked is a under statement. In hindsight it was perhaps inevitable but to hear it at the time it sounded unbelievable.
