    There's a new promoter in town and he probably wants to create some hype.
    Anyways, here are the ''fights'' that will be shown.

    Heavyweight:

    - Tommy Morrison vs. Eric Barrak (HIV-positive vs. green fighter)

    - Ray Mercer vs. Stéphane Tessier (Shot-to-**** fighter vs. local tomato can)

    - Andriy Ivanov vs. Taffo Assongwed (?????)

    - François Miville vs. Stéphane Landry (Proffessional debut for both of them)

    And the best part: he wants to make the winners of those bouts fight eachother, to create a kind of boxing American Idol (''Star Académie'').:lol:

    Lightheavyweight:

    - Joe Gatti vs. Walid Smichet (battle of the retired sluggers).

    these type of matchups are for pure entertainment purposes. i dont find anything funny here. there are many events like these around the world.

    people in montreal are luckier this time.

    Oh he definitely still has it, no doubt. He tested postive back in '96 and got put on a 10-year suspension I think. He's been claiming for years now that he's had about half a dozen tests that have come back negative and that it was a false positive first time round. Somehow he's getting away with it because none of those so called tests have ever been tracked or proven, and he's not getting tested pre-fight for some extraordinary reason. Or it's possible that he is getting tested but his HIV has gone into remission and is undetectable to standardized testing.

    What I can't understand is why someone would actually fight him.

    Surely his health has already started to slide somewhat given that it's about 15 years since he tested positive?

    First of, I won't pay for that.

    Secondly, some HIV blood on you won't do anything (unless you're cut). Hell, I would even drink infected blood for the right amount of money.
