Could be too long a wait for Haye. If Fury impresses in his tune-up, we might see the odds shorten considerably.
So Haye will have been out of the ring for over a year, and this would be his 2nd fight in three years. Surely this will catch up with him sooner or later.
I don't trust or believe a word & thing haye says or does. He hasn't had a penny out of me ever. Hatton I always paid PPV for but haye no way. Fans fall for it time after time that's what gets me.
so the so there people saying that haye will have ring rust? surely that his hard sparring will account for just like being in a real fight, so therefore by this next camp there will be no rust and he will be a better gihtz. or do you get ring rust automatically because youve not been in an officated 12x3 fight? lol
If Povetkin runs Wlad close then Fury/Haye may decide that it's better to fight for the title now (under K2's contract) rather than later. Obviously the money is what is driving this fight for all parties. I think this fight only has a 50/50 chance of happening now as February is a long time away figuratively.
Yes, if you don't have an official competitive REAL fight for ages, something in your performance will suffer at some point. No amount of hard sparring can fix that. It can't be simulated. Haye seems to deal well with lay-offs though, so who knows. But everyone has their limit.
