They are really dragging this out.

Haye is keeping Fury out of the ring now assuming Fury doesn't take a fight which he would be mad to do.

Agreed. Haye giving it all mouth today with the fight being rescheduled. He should shut up and get his head down. Hope he gets koed.

I think the opposite. Fury would be mad not to take an interim fight.

Why allow Haye to make him ring rusty, and stall his career ?
Better to get a 'low risk' opponent in the ring and stay active.
There's absolutely no guarantee that Haye won't pull out again. In fact, I'd consider it only 50-50 chance this fight is actually happening until I see Haye in the arena.

It has to be a 'low risk' fight though, but not too much of a mismatch.
It's going to be difficult finding a suitable opponent, but I expect Fury to get in the ring maybe early November. With the right choice of opponent it can only help him.

Tyson Fury makes a great point about being a active heavyweight if he wants a keep busy fight he should take one.Don't forget a lot of time & money has gone into his preparations & he may use a tune up just to keep sharp & Peter Fury may want to keep him busy.

Haye has postponed many a fight & with his history there is no guarantee it won't happen again.

Feb seems such a long time away right now and I regret buying tickets. I only did so because it's my birthday and I can't see me being so enthusiastic in 5 months time. I'm not even convinced it will happen, it seems at times that Haye only came back out of retirement because the Hollywood dream wasn't going so well. I wish his heart was in it, but it doesn't seem that way.

having a full camp and full 12x3 sparring near the end is pretty
much as good as a fight.

Haye will be just as sharp as ever by feb.

    No.
The mental psychological demands of an important official fight cannot be replicated in sparring. The level of concentration etc.
It's not just a case of getting "gym sharp".

Saying that, Haye copes well with it so far, and might be okay for February 2014. There is a limit though.
