Easy hes being his usual BOSS self and chilling with his buddy PUTIN :happy:happy:happy. Brock and the other glass jawed over hyped newbreeds like Carwin and Cain can stay hidden in the woods or keep breaking their glass chins for that $25k payday. Fedor will remain as the GOAT while these overhyped flash in the pan UFC newbreeds will be forgotten in 10 years time :tong:tong. Who the F u ck is Todd Duffee again?
The only person who will be forgotten is Fedor. Nobody cares about those unsanctioned pride bouts from 2002 anymore. Who is Todd Duffee? Thats Fedor's next opponent.
Not according to Russian viewers which put the event that M1-Global showcased (that Fedor is part owner of) as having better viewership than F1, many soccer matches, and boxing. It rated second in Russia. Who cares about Fedor? well the guy is cashed up and will continue to have a very comfortable life even after retirement, with his company being huge in Russia and Eastern Europe. Look at Brock now, no one cares about him. UFC's golden child and biggest cash cow has been used, abused, discarded, and promptly forgotten. This will happen to every UFC fighter.
Wheres Cain and the other new breeds? Sad to say that those guys will never amount to much. UFC is all about THE PROMOTION and never about THE FIGHTER. UFC will promote their current cash cows but those guys will all be forgotten once Zuffa can no longer bleed them dry.
Fedor probably made more money in one fight than 99% of UFC fighters' career. Fedor a long time ago was cracking over $2 million guaranteed plus footage ownership and merchandise ownership per fight. Carwin on the other had had to work a second job and only getting $25k guaranteed. The biggest UFC money earner Brock got the money when he was fighting but he doesnt own anything, wont get any royalties and wont get a dime from Zuffa now that hes retired.
Fedor is a true legend of MMA, everyone he fights now will idolize him and if he fights on a card people will watch.... but he doesn't need to fight for the title and probably doesn't have any ambition to fight because he has been the best HW for the last decade (before his losses). In 2012 he should pick his fights because he is still the headline of any show... but he isn't going to beat younger hungrier guys.
No he needs to beat talentless redneck former WWE fighter with no ground game, no standup, and runs away from punches :bbb
I'd still be up for a UFC run, I don't think he has it in him to beat JDS, Overeem or Cain but I think he'd still be completive with most other fighters in the division.
