I don’t ever need to see Ryabov box again to be honest. He started to look better as the fight went on and even though it was just his debut, he looks too flawed to go very far

 

He's not even a (amateur) boxer. Has fought in different mixed martial arts before. More like a street fighter.
It could be that he's a fast learner.

Both men prodding their jabs out through the first half of the round work the only real action Madiev landing an overhand as he worked inside. Both men exchange hooks with Madiev probably landing the best punch of the exchange. Terentiev throws another hook which Madiev avoids and counters nicely with his own. Madiev appears to be the more skilled operator in round 1

Madiev is countering Terentiev beautifully so far through the first minute of this round. Terentiev is pressing forward and is more active with his jab. Both men are standing and trading in the center of the ring with Madiev coming out better in the exchanges as he’s able to effectively dodge and counter Terentiev. Terentiev is having his moments of success however and the round was fairly close despite Madiev having the flashier moments.

The overhand right seems to be there for Madiev whenever he wants although he doesn’t seem to pack a lot of power with it. Most of this round has been a tale of jabs with Terentiev being far more active with his. Terentiev unloads with a flurry of punches in close and has some decent success.

Terentiev more active to start the round and he lands a nice uppercut to Madiev’s body. Magomed backs Terentiev up and attempt to land a combo but it’s mostly blocked. Magomed lands two solid overhand rights.

Terentiev controlling the first half of the round with a soft pawing jab. Madiev is most effective when countering and he hasn’t been too effective st doing so the last few rounds. Terentiev counters Madiev and seems to briefly stun him which causes a bit of a firefight to break out. Both men are now standing and exchanging with Terentiev far more active but Madiev still landing the flashier work.

Madiev coming out much more aggressively this round and is able to land a overhand that momentarily hurts Terentiev and backs him up. Madiev is starting to rip to Terentiev’s body more frequently and it’s effecting Terentiev. Terentiev comes back after appearing gassed for a moment and puts the pressure on but gets countered as the round ends. Madiev’s best round in a while, he appeared to hurt Terentiev a few times

Terentiev beginning to have more success behind his jab and has been able to land a few short uppercuts on Madiev as he comes in. Madiev puts his head down and charges in, resuming his attack on Terentiev’s body, which seems to slow Terentiev once again. Ugly round with more holding than the last rounds. Pretty tough round to score. Probably edge it to Terentiev but could go either wayb

Terentiev controlling the early part of the round with his jab once again. Magomed is starting to get blocked when he throws his overhand right. Magomed gets Terentiev backed against the ropes again and unloads with a flurry of 6 or 7 punches to Terentiev’s body. Both men are landing on one another as they exchange in the center of the ring. Magomed probably takes the round with a huge overhand right as the round ends. Another tough one to score though.
