Wednesday in Serpukhov, Moscow Oblast. Nuerlang is the second ranked Chinese super middleweight, behind Ainiwaer Yilixiati. He's coming off a UD loss challenging unsuccessfully for the silver WBC title last November against Azizbek Abdumuxtar Ogli Abdugofurov aka "AAA", who coincidentally had claimed the belt in his previous fight against Fedor's brother Dmitrii. Fedor is coming off a controversial SD over Nadjib Mohammedi. This caps off a streak of four consecutive wins since he lost two in a row (against Sturm & Groves).
@Chuck Norris looking @ you for analysis... Özat is your guy (I'm pretty sure you're the only person to have made a post/thread on him around here...and even maybe to have seen him)
He is your typical lacks skills, but is tough and gritty type fighter. This version of Chudinov should win on points.
This card either got moved to Saturday, or was always scheduled for Saturday and was posted on BoxRec on the wrong day initially. That complicates the broadcasting of this card because the RCC card that day is scheduled to be shown in its entirety on Match Boets, then the BT Sport card is scheduled to be shown after. I’m guessing this card will probably be streamed but I’ll post more when I find out Saturday is looking like the most stacked day of the year so far lol especially early on for those of us stateside.
Ah crap, I would've been able to watch it on Wednesday. Saturdays are no good for me as that's my primary day with my son (which is why my boxing viewing has taken a huge dip) ...and I pick him up from school on Wednesdays but not until 3pm EST (usually late enough to see most Russian cards)
Chudinov wins after Wuzhati retires in his corner in the 5th round. Pretty good effort from Fedor, Wuzhati really brought the fight out in him, but he was really out classed. Good stoppage he was taking a beating
