The casual fans are just starting to learn Fedor's name but I have to laugh when I read them all saying things like Fedor wouldnt know how to fight a big guy like Lesnar that has great wrestling skills - I guess they need to watch some Pride tapes saying mess like that....
fedors striking is poor but no one seems to be durable enough to take his bombs. no one seems skilled or confident enough that if you do stand in front of him and hang with the striking that you can defend his grappling ability. no one at heavyweight is skilled enough to contend with fedor who's skill level is that of a much smaller man. to be honest, fedors needs to be fighting guys like machida and silva. i think they would give him a good fight due to skill level. fedors striking is very mma specific. he throws huge bombs that can be fight ending, cause a knockdown or at least hurt the guy. he then follows up, no need to worry about the 8 count etc.
