Fedor brother Aleksander Emelianenko pro boxing debut

It was ruled a draw.

 

Shouldnt have been though. God, Aleks looked friggin horrible in there. Its amazing that there were people on Sherdog who thought Aleks could compete with a good professional boxer.

 

Yeah, it's a completely different world. You could see Aleks use "MMA technique" in the first few seconds, just swinging wildly and trying to overwhelm his opponent. Apparently he never got the memo that things that work with 4 oz. gloves don't work with the big boys.

 

Good Lord he looks awful.

 

Stick to MMA please!

 

Thanks for the video, Darkaz. I like Aleksander, major props for stepping up and making his debut in boxing. It's incredibly difficult to crossover, even for someone as talented as Aleksander. I just hope this isn't a permanent move. Alot of respect to Aleks, he gave a good account of himself.

 

This is the reason I dont get MMA and Boxing fans at each others throats

2 diffrent sports and you will be extremly lucky to find anybody that can be good at both

****, i never realised that Aleks is only 28.:shock:

 

wtf was that all about, iam a fan of alek but he looked like **** plain and simple. 0 head movement and had a low guard the whole fight, hes lucky he got the gift draw. i hope its just his ring rust ,he should stick with mma.

 

Actually his opponent has a lot of amateur experience, but of course this doesn't compensate for Alex's lack of boxing skills and inability to defend himself from the jab.
