Villalba trying to get his own jab working to start the round, but it is not as good as Iliev’s. Nice combination from Iliev in the center of the ring. Villalba trying hard but cannot quite get the better of Iliev who is just slightly better in many aspects.

Iliev better at distance with his jab and better on the inside when Villalba tries to rough him up. Iliev lands a few heavy uppercuts and Villalba doesn’t have much working for him.

Villalba looking very fatigued as he goes to the canvas a couple times after Iliev leans on him. The ref calls a halt to the action, has the doctor look at Villalba, and the fight is stopped. Villalba has taken enough punishment and has a HUGE cut over his left eye caused by a punch.
