Yes it was great to see Fedor fight smart but he needs to sign with the UFC or at least Bellator if he wants to prove that he is still a decent HW

 

No point in that because he's not a decent HW anymore. Decent HWs don't go to decisions with Jeff Monson as evidenced by the fact that Pedro Rizzo, who's completely shot to pieces, put him out. Fedor squandered his prime by associating himself with the M-1 scumbags and taking fights against faded bums and now he's reaping the benefits of that by getting raped by MWs and winning lackluster fights against aged anarchists.

fedor gets crushed in the ufc. Face it folks jeff monson is a never was and sure is a nobody today and he takes him the distance. fedor might could get on the ultimate fighter and work is way up sad but thas truly at the level he is today.

 

Monson has never been an easy guy to put away.

Fedor fought his smartest fight in years, and while it was against a faded Monson, I was still impressed with his patience and the fact that he actually stuck to a gameplan.

And if taking Monson the distance is a bad sign, I hope you don't have high hopes for Daniel Cormier.

 

Interesting how in his last 4 fights he took his most patient and measured approach againt the easiest guy. He looked sharp and stuck to his plan well; such a shame he didn't fight like this in his previous three.

People get too much wood from one performance, sounds like Fedor did Monson just as well as Danny.

 

He's not going to hold a major title. He's too small, too slow, and too old. That being said, I was a bit extreme in saying no "decent" fighter goes to decision with Monson because Cormier is at least decent. That being said, everyone should remove themselves from Fedor's **** because the sad fact of the matter is, he sucks now.

 

Not what he was, but he hardly sucks. Unless anybody outside the top 10 sucks. He could still beat a fair few top 10 guys on his day, just not the really top guys.

Even then, I have seen everything to suggest that he could starch Cain if he landed (unlikely).

But only a few guys I would favour to really beat up Fedor badly.

 

fedor is not top ten nor ever will be again face it he made his mark fighting lessor competition 90 percent of the time. stepped it up and got smashed.
