    if fedor was out at any time i would understand it. he was not. i have no doupt he would have won the next round

    but like i said in another post....a fighter's safety should always be a priority...It would've been crazy to continue....It would be the equivalent of letting Vitali continue vs Lewis....

    It's a shame that the fight was stopped...but that's just the way it goes. Safety first.

    Look at Wandy v Crop Cop 2. The state on Wandy's eye could have warranted a stoppage, but they let it go on because it's Wanderlei. But he's never been the same again after that LHK has he

    But it really doesn't matter what you believe. Fedor obviously felt he was dominated. After 2 rounds he was defeated physically and most likely mentally as well, since he did not protest the decision to stop the fight. Since he strongly hinted retirement it's obvious he doesn't want to fight another round. I say this as a big fan of his. Sucks that he lost but let's not be in denial.

    It ruined the rest of his career....(he looked dead after that highkick..)...Some fights ruin fighters....Even if they're not physically shot....mentally...it can sometimes be irreversible.
