Yes, it's at a place called The Fight Club. It's a kickboxing gym. I don't know if there's any actual mixed martial artists in that bunch.

I don't recognize any of the guys he was sparring with. But the Dutch scene has changed a lot in the last 7-8 years. With most of the greats being semi retired at the very least. But anyone who's grown up in that area and came through the Dutch system is going to be good to work with, even if they're relatively unknown.

A lot of people writing Sonnen off but does Fedor even have the stamina to go 5 rounds any more?

I kinda think Sonnen will stop him.

He had great stamina against Maldonado, only reason why he didn't lose that one(the decision was questionable I had it a draw) that's an area where Fedor has yet to show a major dip in. His chin, fight IQ and grappling have all regressed though(probably in that order) Sonnen was dropped and hurt by the corpse of Wanderlei. Someone with a massive physical decline and coming off a long period of activity. Fedor is still probably too tough for someone like Sonnen who has a tendency to fold when faced with that kind of challenge. I think his grappling is still good enough to largely nullify Sonnen's wrestling attack as well(his only realistic path to victory here)

Will Fedor winning the whole thing enhance his legacy somewhat?

I'd say so. It certainly wouldn't hurt winning something like that at this stage of his career.

It still annoys me that the losses to Henderson and Werdum could have been avoided had he kept the fight standing and had he not been so oblivious and careless.

That's the nature of the game. Fedor lost doing what had previously worked for him 100% of his career, bull**** Kohsaka stoppage loss notwithstanding. Werdum baited him by falling to his back after a punch, and Fedor probably had no idea he was jumping into a guard like he'd never seen before. Fedor stunned Hendo, and tried to capitalize the way he'd done successfully many times in the past. Henderson, then on TRT, took advantage of an opening after a scramble.
