I'm starting to like this new, outspoken Fedor. It reminds me of the time when Steve Urkel was a victim of an experiment went wrong and turned into the more suave 'Stephan Urk'el'. Those are the types of memories you retain when you're childhood consists of your mother telling you not to go outside because your neighbors allegedly belong to a christian cult that abducts little boys at night. God I wish I were lying, but it's true. In an interview with mixfight.ru (translated by LowKick), Fedor launches a preemptive verbal strike against the UFC and even suggests that he's the 'thorn in the UFC's side'. Intense.
"UFC is a money making machine. The most important thing for this organization is a brand and it's marketing. They have a couple of good fighters and there are also some very good champions; but they are trying to keep everyone at the same level. The most important thing for them is the promotion, not the fighters. I think that they lack a respect for their fighters. As for me, I became a thorn in their side."
"We are constantly negotiating, but only during recent time the Americans began to show some respect. The dialogue between us is completely different right now. They are more interested in our opinion."
"All I can say is that Vadim Finkelstein is doing well in handling the situation."

It is good to see Fedor speaking his mind on the corupt business practices of Dana White and the UFC. It was'nt long ago that Wladimir Klitschko would shrug off **** talk and just praise his opponent, now he tells them he is going to kick thier ass. Good for Fedor. If he does ever sign with UFC I hope he gets his money up front, crushes thier champion, then breaks his contract leaving Dana White looking like a fool.:happy
