And the best is a shot CC? A shot Nog? A 46 year old Couture? A bunch of UFC prospects who frankly are quite average? Frank Mir - the same Mir who got smashed by Cruz and partimer Vera a few years ago but because of a knee bar and a win over a shot to **** Nog is now back? Seriously this is a joke. The UFC heavy division historically has always been poor.

Despite the aquisition of PRIDE nothing has changed. Fedor doesnt need the UFC. The UFC though NEEDS him. I mean this is laughable. If anyone had said that Fedors sternest test (according to the UFC faithful) would be a former NCAA standout and WWE superstar with literally a handful of fights you would have got laughed off these boards. Now as is usual with all that is the UFC Brock is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Heres hoping Batista and John Cena can join those ranks. Who knows in 5 years time they may be Fedors sternest test!!

The Ali-Tyson comparison is a ****ing stupid one. More like Ali having to miss prime years because of jail, which seems to be about as good for your career as Finklestein.

That is the exact ****ing definition of being a champion, being the best.

If we are going to heap praise like "greatest" then it needs to proven every single time, over and over again, until he retires. No breaks, no easy fights, no letting up the smallest amount. Not one break until you quit, or decide you no longer want to be the best.

Nope the comparison is valid. There was NOTHING to prevent Ali from staying in the sport and fighting the best to prove he is the best. Its a hollow and extremely childish point to make I doubt Fedor nor Finkle nor anybody in MMA really gives a **** about what you think. Fedor does not need the UFC. The sooner you learn to deal with that the better.

    Yes, there was ****ing parkinsons.

It isn't about what I think, its what the definition of a champion is. A current champion must always take on the next guy, every time, until he either quits or no longer wants to be champion.

Nobody gets a pass for all eternity because of their past. That is their legacy, his is already great, but can improve, and the only way for it to improve is to fight the best guy on the block at that moment.

Why is that an excuse? Fedor clearly has none in your eyes despite already establishing himself as the greatest heavy of all times but somehow he looses that legitimacy in the eyes of a few fickle fans because he's not in the UFC? To fight who exactly? 5 fight Brock Lesnar? Tell you what Mariusz Pudianowski is a black belt in some discipline and a athletic phenom why doesnt he challenge Fedor too? If all it takes is one big guy with 5 fights to his name to get all you girls aroused so much then its really high time you found another sport to watch. Fedor has made his decision he's done whats best for himself. Deal with it already.

Why is having parkinsons disease an excuse? Well I guess you have a point, think how fast his jab would be.

Fedor has proven himself, what you fail to realize is that we aren't talking about his all time standing, we are talking about right now. If Ali wanted to be considered the best right then, he would have had to fight Tyson. If Fedor wants to remain the best he has to give people a chance to prove he isn't.

If he can do that outside the UFC, great, but we know for sure he can in the UFC. If you don't think Lesnar is a legitmate threat, you just continue to be a blind hater; read what credible pro fighters say about his ability, look what Fedor says. He is at a bare minimum as big of a threat as Overeem, 100x the threat of Rogers.

You're good guy bad guy childish bull**** is killer. People just want the best fighter in the world to prove it often and prove it until he can't or doesn't want to.

The leader of the pride stays the leader until someone challenges him. Why does Fedor have to actively look for a challenge while giving up his demands? I don't get it?
