Fedor is not the same now as he was a couple of years back. The GOAT should retire.

Fedor is the Greatest of All-Time.

A couple of years back, he would've brutalized Werdum with ease.

He is no longer the same fighter anymore, Father Time is taking his toll.

For a guy who went undefeated for so long, it would be a tragedy if he now started losing fights, like what happened with Roy Jones in boxing.

I say the GOAT should call time on his career now. He has nothing to prove, he simply got old.

    I salute the Greatest. :happy

I agree he is the GOAT. But he made a mistake. Fedor came in shape, he just got caught. Father time will take it's toll but I don't think it did in this fight. He just made a mistake. This was a legit win for Werdum.

I think with the right gameplan, Fedor would still brutalize Werdum in the rematch. Hopefully he will have learned his lesson about following a ADCC champion to the ground. Once he avenges this loss, he should retire. No sense in throwing him in against guys like Overeem at this stage of his career.

It's the same guy. What does father time have to do with a silly gameplan? Fedor should obviously not have stayed in Werdum's guard. I think that he thought Werdum was really hurt bad when he went down, and his over aggressiveness killed him. He's only human.

Yeah obviously! Why do people keep on blabbering on about Fedor's gameplan? Fedor took a risk stayed in guard and got subbed. He said this himself and it was clear to see from the fight when he escaped the first armbar attempt.

This is MMA. ANYTHING can happen. The fact Fedor has had a run like this for sooo long is uncanny and likely NEVER to be repeated.

Fedor did what he does best and thats go for the KO when he smells blood. Theres no shame in this loss at all considering its at the end of his career and Werdum is one of the best grapplers in the world. Im certain though Fedor wins a rematch.

The 0 may have been extented because of his matchups. Do you think dana would have let him fight lindlund,Zulu,HMC etc. while in his prime?

Yup your right. How dare Fedor face Mark Hunt, Coleman, CC, AA, Sylvia etc when he could have faced Frank Mir or Brock. Bad bad Fedor.
