"My next opponent is Andrei Arlovski"

"The next Affliction event is supposed to be in November, but we'll try to make it in October so I can prepare for the NYE in Japan"

"I don't know who is going to be my opponent in the Dream NYE but I want to fight Josh Barnett in the US in March."

"I want to catch up on lost time and fight more this year. The next Affliction event is scheduled for november, but we are going to try to move it up to october so that I can prepare adequately for my Dream fight in december."

Intersting. Barnett is needed for legacy as he was a big name in Pride that never happened. Couture and Arlovski would be huge on the resume as well.

It would be great if he fought those 3 guys. The Dream fight will most likely be against Mirko. The Dream HW roster (Mirko, Hunt, Overeem) is very thin at the moment so if Mirko get injured or something there could be problems. Then again there is always Bobby Ologun. :yep

mma is still in its pioneering state.100 years from now fedor will be looked at
    like example:Jim Jefferies of mma.

Expect to see much better mma fighters in the next 10 years that
can box kick wrestle in a quicker pace and advanced stances and
    new fighting techniques.

That would be insane if he beats all 3 guys all 3 being former Champions. His resume will be filled with almost every Heavyweight Champion in MMA history.

Coleman,Randleman,Couture,Sylvia,Nogueria,Barnett,Arlovski and of course Cro Cop being a Grand Prix Champ not to mention some of the other fellas hes beat like Herring,Fujita,Babalu,Arona ETC. Fedors is something else and id pick him to beat all 3 although they are his toughest challengers in my opinon atleast on paper. Arlovski would probablly be his toughest he can match Fedor with the Russian Sambo and his striking id actually give him the advantage hes so light on his feet and has that Heavyweight power with Lightweight speed. Great fight id pay good money to see it.

Arlovski is a bit suspect on the ground.
Like when he attempted that amateurish mistake of going for the heel hook against Rothwell and was unable or didn't even seem to know how to guillotine Jake O'Brien at his last UFC fight.

His striking is excellent though, better than Fedor's. But the question is the mental game, will Arlovski fold under the mental pressure and become timid against Fedor?

Yeah im not sold on his Jiu-Jitsu skills although his Sambo is good though which is consist of alot of leg locks. Hes never been submitted so maybe its better then we think though. I wouldnt wanna go to the ground with Fedor though.

This fight makes sense - particularly considering the excellent recent showing by both men. I hope Arlovski is working on his ground game - because as stated above - his hell hook attempt against Rothwell was horrible, resulting in a loss of superior positioning and against a better ground fighter - that could have cost him the fight.

Arlovski has been impressive again lately, but I just don't see him beating Fedor.

Barnett is a nice addition legacy wise, but it certainly won't make or break him.
