That's exactly what happened, he lost to Werdum, then got his face smashed by G. Silva then thought he would fight a smaller guy and still got ko'd. But as you know it's Fedor and his loses don't really count. But his wins against Snowmann Sushii and ***gro count because that was the "old" Fedor again.
Do his last 3 wins improve his legacy? No. Do his last 3 losses hurt his legacy? Yes, but not by much. Are you really going to argue that those 3 losses take away what he accomplished beforehand?
No. But Fedor is not an invincible God of fighting. And he's not immune from criticism. The fact is, he was The Man for many years. But he DID **** away the last half-decade of his career, and he DID lose by stoppage 3x when he stepped up his competition while still physically competitive. He's regarded as the consensus P4P GOAT in a very young sport. For now. But he's not a mystical talisman who will forever be regarded as the perfect example of a mixed martial artist. And he DID hide away in smaller promotions rather than compete at the very highest level while the sport was experiencing the most explosive growth in its history. :good :hat
Are you taking this ****? The best line in there is; "GSP..Fedor don't lay and pray PERIOD" It sounds like something Bill Cosby would say. Lynchburg
Everyone was in this sport from the ground up. Gets tiresome after a while. I bet this dude was watching Min Soo Kim vs Godzilla back in 1300 when Pancrase Japan held their first event...
There has been a major shift in opinions regarding Fedor the last couple of years. There use to be way to many moronos. Now there are too many Kerrigans. I think I've had Fedor in the right perspective all along. I did not predict his 3 fight losing streak, but here is what I had to say before a couple of those fights.
In his time he was a Great. His time is over. If anyone says he wasn't great..don't know ****. The sport is moving on...Bigger...better..faster...just like alll the other sports. It happens.
Even tho you do ramble on a fair bit talking some ****... I do think your main points are true, Fedor is the greatest, best & most dominant MMA fighter in history & White n co will sink to all sorts of low to try discredit the man pure & simply because he never fought in the UFC. The end !
Fedor was a hell of a fighter, but ridiculous fanboys like you make me embarrassed for him. It's not like the guys he beat in his biggest wins went on to show the world that they were head and shoulders above the rest. In his prime versus Couture in his prime would have been a GREAT fight that I'd have picked Fedor to win but wouldn't have been surprised to see Couture take it. All time great for sure, but your sniveling nuthugging is awful. One bad luck loss and two horrible losses (one to a guy two classes lower) is never a good time to start talking about beating guys like Velazquez or Lesnar, particularly since Velazquez just crushed the guy that crushed Fedor. Get a ****ing grip.
Id rate Sapp and Kimbo better fighter than Brock, you know the guy who runs away from punches and unlike Sapp couldnt even hack it in the NFL :good and brock is one of my favourite fighter ever :-(.
