By that logic, Arlovski was robbed when he was lying there flat on his face and the Ref stepped in and stopped the fight, he was recovering, and would have ignored the undoubted follow up shots from Fedor that came his way Right? And Im not even gonna touch the fact you say Bigfoot beating his face until he couldnt see from mount wasnt legit Ive read some crap on this forum this weekend, by you deserve this This content is protected
unquantifiable?? just watch the fights and start counting. In fact its amazing you cant just reel off the numbers off the top of your head?? your slipping boy.
LOL..thanks Dana I don't even know how you can compare what happened to Arlovski to the Fedor case. He was out in mid air, and he didn't recover in a space of 5 seconds like Fedor did. Im not saying Big Foot didn't dominate Fedor..but Fedor was ready to fight in the the third round, he could have easily turned things around, and we have seen Big Foot in trouble against smaller guys than Fedor. But it's all opinions I guess, you can keep your grubby biscuit...probally smells of **** anyway from your shitty fingers you **** stain Bye Dana :good
Fail. I actually thought you was going to bring up some decent points. Now your blabbering on about me watching his fights and counting. Sound logic Rusty Fail. You never cease to surprise me. Just when i thought you couldn't come out with a post any stupider you raise the bar.
I don't know why you are acting as if there is a massive difference between the two. Fedor took a whupping like Hendo never has against Bigfoot, he's been rocked and hurt probably as often as Hendo has or nearly as often, Fedor has suffered two or three badly broken noses as well as nasty looking eye injuries. I mean, when has Hendo ever taken a lot of damage or a beatdown in a fight? He's always been competitive and resilient. You're behaving as if the difference is like the difference between Anderson Silva and Andrei Arlovski. Simmer down.
Fedor is past his prime its that simple. He was a fighter who fought with his heart and skills he was never in great shape it has caught up to him as he has aged. add to that as another poster already mentioned fedor fell in love with his punching power recently (at least since the Sylvia fight) before that he was primarily a groundfighter. Now he seems desperate to finish fights early and as soon as the bell rings he rushes out and brawls with his opponent. when he used to have a gameplan. Fedor was caught by many clean punches against Hendo( he usually takes alot of the power off them by rolling with them and he did do that to some degree, but was hit flush far more than usual), and I have never seen fedor flail wildly with his arms like he did last night . Emelianenko showed pieces of his old self last night, but its clear that his best days are behind him. I hope he retires now. Edit: the flailing around was only after Dan shoved his hand into fedor's face and basically eye raked fedor.
Hendo easily has the one of the best chins, if not THE best iv ever seen in MMA. Iv seen Hendo hurt but never truly on ***** street. His legs betrayed him early on in his career vs Allan Goes but he was never hurt the way Fedor was hurt vs Fujita let alone close to being stopped or stopped. His also never marked up as bad as Fedor. And clearly has fantastic recovery powers and a granite chin. Now the FACTS aside Rusty Fail doesn't seem capable of raising one point to back up his 'unquantifiable' aspersion when the body of evidence would indicate Fedor is clearly the more fragile of the two physically. But apparently Fedor despite fighting at heavy and having lengthy careers in Judo Sambo plus his gym wars has taken x10 less damage than Hendo? Like i said earlier sound logic.
I had this argument months ago and was basically mocked http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=316053&highlight=AVATAR+BET Now Im not being smug, but....
well i dunno i just thought between being 7 or so years older, having fought 50 or so more rounds while going up and down various weight divisions and winning in a fashion half as dominant while throwing in an OLYMPIC level wrestling career and decades spent training and sparring with some of the best fighters in the world that his body might have actually taken more punishment than a guy renowned for his less than spartan work ethic. silly me.. :nut either way im off to bed. enjoy.
really.....so you have those combat sambo fights on video so we can count all of that? not to mention....not all people take damage the same way...so, not really sure what you are going on about even if you can somehow prove hendo has taken more damage than fedor, which you cannot, it would not mean fedor hasn't taken too much damage for fedor
Pretty much what i thought you haven't got a clue what you're on about. Soon as someone starts mentioning ages i just switch off. That's like school yard logic. "He's older so he must be able to beat you up!" atsch Here's Fedor's ledger OUTSIDE of MMA. Bronze 1998 Kstovo +100 kg Bronze 1999 Kstovo Open World Cup Bronze 1999 Moscow International Tournament +100 kg Bronze 1999 Sofia Liberation A-Team +100 kg Men's Combat Sambo World Championships Gold 2002 Thessaloniki +100 kg Gold 2002 Panama City Open Gold 2005 Prague +100 kg Gold 2007 Prague +100 kg Bronze 2008 St. Petersburg +100 kg European Sambo Championships Gold 1997 European Combat Sambo Championships +100 kg Russian Sambo Championships Gold 1997 St. Petersburg +100 kg Bronze 1998 Kaliningrad +100 kg Bronze 2000 Orenburg Open Gold 2002 Moscow Open Gold 2006 Buryat Republic Open Gold 2007 Buryat Republic Open Gold 2008 St. Petersburg The mere fact you're actually willing to assert Fedor had less than a 'spartan' work ethic when the FACTS clearly prove otherwise shows your argument is entirely flawed and most of all disingenuous. Fedor's won gold 11 times alone in various tournaments. He won the PRIDE title. The PRIDE GP. Open Weight tournament winner in RINGS. Numerous Judo championships. Has a ledger in combat sports that is simply NOT matched. Went on a run UNPARALLELED in this sport at the highest level but you think he had a less than 'spartan' ethic because of the way he looked? atsch
[ame]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fedor_Emelianenko[/ame] Have a look at Fedor's accomplishments. He is the Micheal Jordan of MMA no question about that. NO fighter past or present has anything close to Fedor in terms of accomplishments at that level.
