He rushes in like a wildman when he lands a half decent shot. It used to work but the fighters are so well rounded now he hasn't moved on with the game. He just dived on Werdum staright into a triangle and he was so sloppy and reckless against Henderson who lets not forget is over a stone lighter but had FE pressed up against the cage for a lot of the round. Maybe he is a little overrated I don't know, it's not impossible that he is. I just cannot warm to Henderson, he's tough and a great fighter but I just can't stand him.

I could understand him getting into Werdum's guard ( although it could be argued Werdum baited him so he could pull guard ) as he thought he had him hurt and was on the verge of a stoppage. At the end of the day a prime Fedor smashed up Nog IN HIS GUARD. And Nog is the best BJJ heavy of all times.

But last nights game plan was non-existent. Not once did Fedor try to get him to the floor? Videos prior to the fight showed him sparring with boxers?! Hendo's obvious weakness is sub defence on the mat. Great grappler but versed in sub defence against a great Sambo guy? Made no sense to me from the outset. Not sure what Fedor or his team were thinking.

No i have watched mma since the first ufc and fedor has been the best fighter over that time, he has gotten older and the fighters have got stronger and more advanced, it always happens in mma as it evolves.

I think he ruled an era when you could get by relying on your natural attributes. If you had to pinpoint Fedors greatest asset I would say it was that he could always wether a storm and find a way to win. He has a good chin, great powers of recovery and was as well a rounded fighter as there was then. But in the past 5 years or so there are fighters that have come through that actually started as MMA fighters, not old school amateur judo or BJJ guys that went to MMA. The sport is evolving rapidly and fedor looks like a dinosaur sometimes all chubby and swinging like a madman. The key thing is that his 3 losses have all come by a different route which indicates massive holes in his game rather than being shot. He has tapped, been GnP's into next week and KO'd because he was ****ed on Saturday, no early stoppage IMO. I love Fedor and what he has done but I never agreed with this unbeatable machine bull****.

Fedor needs to sit down and have a serious, honest chat with his priest about his fight tactics as of late, as something isn't right.

It's called arrogance, he lost and can't admit that he is getting beat that's why he is using stand over man tactics to win again, but the truth is his not that good and shld stick to rolling around on the floor.

Leave the boxing to the experts Fedor.

fedor is not past his prime. that excuse is bull****. he is just not that good. when did he ever face a bjj guy as big and strong as werdum? the man is mentally broken. he believed in his own hype and now he can not recover from that. he just ain't that good.

He was only 33yrs when Werdum handed him his ass and has since lost twice...... very badly.

The bloke has beaten mainly freaks most of his MMA life.

Randy was just getting started at 33yrs

Not only that, but he was beaten in 3 different ways. That's not good news for his legacy, not at all. :-(
